PEARL BRAND PRODUCTS

Welcome to Pearl; a legendary art and craft store.....

For over 70 years, Pearl Art and Craft has been serving artists. Manhattan’s legendary landmark, the Canal Street Pearl, has supplied the inspirations for many student and professional artists, including many of the famous names of their time. Since the beginning, Pearl has been in the forefront of art, bringing new and exotic materials from all over the globe. New lightfast pigment technologies, advances in sculpting materials; Pearl continues to have its finger on the pulse of the art world today.

Here’s some trivia of events that happened the year Pearl opened in 1933. Albert Einstein arrives in America, King Kong and Faye Wray premiere at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and we have our very first Chocolate Chip Cookie. Construction was started on San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, the first Drive-In Theater was opened in Camden, New Jersey, and the Lone Ranger has its radio debut.  Annaliese Marie Frank was born in Germany while the first Major League All-star Baseball Game is played at Kaminski Park, Chicago. Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal begins, Dust Bowl devastates the Great Plains, Mt Rushmore National Park is dedicated, Wiley Post makes the first solo flight around the world and we have our first singing Telegram.
