Princeton LH 6600 Series Best Synthetic Mongoose

One advantage of mongoose would be it’s softer than bristle, yet stiffer than sables. This allows smooth strokes with thicker paints. Mongoose has the same properties of badger hair and was recommended for oils and alkyds. Synthetic mongoose allows you to use acrylics.

Long Handle for oil, alkyds or acrylics
Synthetic Mongoose can be used with oil mediums and solvents.
