100% Belgian linen is acrylic primed and mounted on 11/16" light weight kiln dried stretcher bars. Belgian linen is know being the highest quality, superior in strength and resists tearing when re-stretching. Unlike cotton, the fiber used in linen canvas does not lose its natural oils which protects it from deterioration caused by time and dry-rot. Truely archival,this surfaces' priming is ideal for acrylics, oils and mixed media.
